Designed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry, Samarind RMS is a feature rich, intuitive software application that manages the key areas of pharmaceutical licence acquisition and maintenance. This is a critical process that pharmaceutical regulatory departments find increasingly difficult (and costly) to manage. With the regulatory bodies imposing stricter regulations, and the EU making changes to the processes for managing drug licencing across member states, demands on regulatory departments are higher than ever before.

Samarind RMS is built using industry-standard Microsoft™ professional development tools Visual Basic 6 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005, and can be run on Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista workstations.
Samarind is also able to customise RMS to precisely meet any additional requirements of pharmaceutical companies. A module for managing the pharamacovigilance process is planned for 2007, covering such areas as reporting and managing ADRs (adverse drug reactions), etc.
