Samarind announces latest RMS enhancements
Version 3.77 brings enhanced features for EDMS
Samarind Limited, a leading provider of regulatory affairs management software is pleased to announce the latest release of its award winning Samarind RMS for Windows software. The latest updates to Samarind RMS bring improved document management and workflow capabilities.
Whether users of the system are 'local' or regionally based, the new features will provide greater transparency across the document authoring, reviewing and approval stages within the life-cycle process. Samarind RMS also allows documents to be shared and linked to specific entities or milestones within the database eg products, submissions, PSURs, GMP dates, etc.

We have progressively developed and strengthened Samarind RMS's capabilities over the past seven years, and our development road map provides our customers with an assurance that there is continued progression in the system's features and capabilities."
In addition to the improved document management features, the latest version of Samarind RMS brings improved compliance for eCTD and enhanced management reporting capabilities. Phil continued "We aim to ensure Samarind RMS continues to meet industry needs through developing greater sophistication in its functionality, whilst safeguarding the simplicity, flexibility and robustness of the system's architecture."
There is an ongoing stream of enhancements to Samarind RMS due in 2011 and in the coming months the software will be updated for Region 1 submissions and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. Support for Medical Devices will also be added in the next 12 months.
